Hi again,

So you are getting close to the magical 100k mark with just two of your cores using vmware/ubuntu? How do you think my cpu would fair if I did the same? I was thinking that with the 9800 akimbo I might start to get 6kppd and that puts me in a different bracket. I might even be considered in the Monthly contests, would be nice to win another card for folding.

On the other hand I have a very nice skt939 a64 3200 system that I probably can sell for about $250 CAN to a very nice older lady. She sure ain't any regular gray haired old lady. And man can she cook, she showed that she had great taste when she addopted me, unofficially, a few years after my mother died in 2000.

I have been doing some serious deal browsing for at least a x3 phenom and I wonder how they would do for ppd, you might know...?

Hey G-Byte. Since team competition only allows 2 cores. The best producers up to this point have been the E8400's, E8500's, and the E8600's.
With the 2 core limit, the X2 Phenom (3 cores) would not be allowed.
(unless of course you folded with just 2 of the 3 cores)

There's lots of good deals out there on the E8400's, etc on eBay and other places.

Good luck!

By the way guys. I just went over 100K for the month!! I believe that's a new record!!!

Great job jade you just beat your own record(ends sarcasm), now go gloat in your own thread.

BTW guys we I am at a loss, I am submitting units but am not getting any credit...I don't know what to do. I have tried new vmware, ubuntu...made sure firewall is off, made exceptions....great time too.

Hey overall TR, RR, and JBC have a total score output of 1,588,097 points for this month. So we went way over the 1.5 million points mark. Just think if we can all get running next month maybe we can hit 2 million?

Honestly Lemans. I don't know. I had 5 Wu's I turned in this month that never got credited (including 1 yesterday). Rx7Racer had the same problem. I think maybe Stanford doesn't like us because they think we couldn't possibly have turned in those Wu's so fast. Or Maybe Ranger98 has family that works at Stanford! Yeah, that's it! Speaking of; if I'm not careful he could still beat me! Go Masher GO!!!

P.S. Thanks Mega And awesome job this month RANGER98!

Next month is going to be another Thrilla from Manilla. Go Rough Riders!!! *runs for the exit*

Ok I am 110% sure I am back online now, I have one job in queue and one at 52%, I am not going to make a run on anyone at this stage, but I would love to break that 100k(very very unlikely) but I will cling to hope.
