Aaahhhh, ok. Well I have Mint 7 so I'll try with that first. And if it's a bit slow I'll spend the 30min to get Mint 5

Thank you Roke and lemans for posting the links. I just read a whole bunch and the result is that Pande is trying to fix it...but there are a great many wu's that fail.

Are you sure you didn't have windows update on? Linux Mint has memtest built in.....

When I 1st started having this problem it was with error's vm client. Just for cores 0/1, 2/3 was still going like gangbusters. I then tried notfreds and although it was using 2 cores it was a pain to put in the pw/un. So I got bal3wolf's running and it is still good as of now.

I did download a bunch of other vm clients including the Mint 7.1 client. Would the Mint run better on my machine? I can get, with my pc not being used for other things, on average 2200 for cores 0/1 and about 2000 for the next 2 cores. I think it is not bad and for the 1st two cores my times can get to about 12:15/%, about 21 hours or so.

Are you talking about installing Mint as your main OS or running it as a VM? If Bal3wolf's client is working for you I would stick with it. Just know that any linux client, vm or native, is liable to get one of these bad wu's that have been plauging everyone lately.

Hiya Roke. Nope, I was thinking of the vmware for Mint. I am a bit too lazy to re-figure out Linux at this time of my life. I was getting to know it over 15 years ago and it was a lot harder to configure everything. If/When I get a dedicated Intel for Team folding I'll probably go with a Nix install but until then I'll have to settle with what I got.

It was kinda funny cause I was using the regular OCN vm client since I 1st started cpu folding and error's thread got me going and I have not had much problems but with only one dual folder messing up and the other running just fine I tried a few things to fix it. I was going to make a post regarding this but Bal3wolf's worked out ok and now I got two of them running right now. I'll see how they go over the next week or so.

Ok, well I can;'t even get 4GHz stable on just 1.33vcore. I think I need to do a hsf reseat.

Orthos runs fine but IBT thrashes it Along with OCCT.

But I'm going to be getting a DFI LP LT X48 also in the meantime. Got a decent deal on it as long as it works.(crosses Fingers)

Ok, now I just have to work on getting this one dialed in. And what you posted Lemans helps a lot as to why only one core is folding.

I know I'm gonna hurt us for the beginning of the month but I hope to be fully up and running very soon.
