I believe JadeMiner is/was successfully destroying in both CPU and GPU competitons... Maybe contact him for advice

Oh how young in terms of the comp you are....we have all been rolling through issues and folding and stuff for about 17 months....Rx7racer, Ranger98, Danbeme32, lemans81, Jcharles75, Jademiner.....all of us have been here for a long long time against each other. And time wise roke and snoopy83 are right there too..old timers. We have all been cpu folders forever. Yeah jade has some amazing luck, and some cash sitting around that helps too.

Rx are you trying process lasso to keep them both in line ppd wise?
Are you still having stability issues on the E8400?
Actually haven't had time to get to that. But when I do run both I use Prifinity. Nice little app. Heuristic brought it up once and I being curious jumped on it.

I'm at 4GHz right now on the DFI X48. So far at 1.4vcore and IBT I can't even touch. Temps are crazy high. But for just regular OCCT and Orthos it's looking good. If I can pass at least a couple hours I'll start folding and go from here.

1.4v....and 4 ghz....does that come with a return to jade policy? What kind of temps are you seeing?...you said stuck sensors right?

Awesome bro. If you end up running both CPU and GPU you'll need Vista or Win7 for the least usage of the core for the GPU. I ran Win7 with the GPU2 and Bal3wolf's for awhile. But had stability issues trying to push the CPU so high. I had to go with seperate rigs. Now I have 2 nice little space heaters for the winter

We already discussed that. He knows it's a killer chip. Just gotta dial it in with a great mobo. Here's another guy from OCN with the exact same batch. http://www.overclock.net/3520156-post115.html I was hitting 4.3Ghz stable with my ASUS Formula w/Rampage mod. That chip boots to windoze at 4.0Ghz on stock voltage

I have GPU folding in linux down to a science now. Actually got the 8400GS up and running the other day, but like lemans said the ppd loss isn't really worth it for the CPU competition. Also, I've got that exact same DFI so if you need any information about the BIOS or anything let me know. I'm more than happy to help.

Well, my rig was stable over night but it is on one of the cores that only uses one cpu core. So I guess I won't fully know how it does for a day or two.

Edit: Just got home from work. Rig was locked up.

Ok, I have it at 4GHz still and 1.34vcore, temps are better with a re-seat. Running Orthos all night to check for stability.
