Yeah, that's where it's at man. The cooling The E8*** series needs the best cooling possible.

That's why Ranger is hitting 4.62Ghz with an E8400

Ok, I keep getting a Client-Core communications error: Error 0xff now, and error 0x7f.

Not to mention Fatal Error: NaN Detected.

Crap when will this just start freaking working right again.

Searching F@H Forums but can't find any definitive answer as to what Error 0xff actually is. Someone using NotFred's is saying Vm running out of space to write files but I have 160GB free on hd so that can't be it.

It is from what I can tell a Linux and MacOSX based error only.

Maybe I'll just go back to WinSMP and be done.

BTW: I reloaded VMWare and Bal3Wolfs on my sig rig and on my wifes rig and get the same errors so no matter what I can't get anything but GPU going now, why isn't anyone else having issues like this. I know it's not my hardware now since I am having the same exact error on all 3 rigs.

Ok like in that link posted, he is getting after he tries to resume, hell I can't even get started on a wu and I get that error. Is it the A2 core period or something, but if so then why is no one else having issues at all like this. I don't get it. I have deleted work directory and all, I have started from scratch the best of my ability so nothing period is written anywhere and still get this error.

Guys I need some serious help here. I let Orthos run for 18hrs. so surely I am at least stable at 4GHz but it's useless if I can't get anything freaking folding.

That's so weird. Almost everybody seems to be having problems except me. I suppose if this continues..... I'll go ahead and upload the cores Stanford has given me to some sort of FTP or whatever. Not sure if that will help. But at least you'll be using the same fahcore1 or 2 that I'm using.

And by the way Lemans. As to why I'm not getting hit with those slow poke WU's.....
Talk with Mega, he knows I'm not that smart. I'm just lucky

The end is near. It can't be that bad, the top 3 spots are held by smp folders. You know this better than me, consistency is key.
