Got it working, 2 questions... Please

Finally got the game to download from the Playstation store. Downloaded directly to memory card. This is my first game download.
This is new to me, so if anyone has done this before, please answer.

3 minutes into the download, the screen went blank. Still had power light, memory card light was flashing and download was still going on. Is this normal? Is there a screensaver setting that could have been on? After the download, I turned it off then on and checked the download. Game had been downloaded and appears to be working O.K.

Is there a way to move the game from the memory stick to a computer? In case memory stick gets corrupted. I don't want to loose what I paid for somewhere down the road.

Have model 2001, ver. 3.8 silver slimline. Came with Daxter game bundle.

yes it has a dimmer/screen saver function.

you might be able to just copy your mem card to your computer and back it up that way. but i also think that the PSN keeps track of what you have downloaded and bought, so you can download it again anytime i believe

You are limited to 3 re-downloads though. After you have to pay again. I think =)
