Enterprise, I never noticed your quote from Half life
I like half life <3

Is that white-board sketch for real? Thats hilarious!!!
Oh well, did gigabyte patent the idea? Did Asus break any rules in using 4 nics?
no? didn't think so.
Lets move on now.

Nice find anyway

I can't exactly say Gigabyte makes great mobos.

In my opinion they are just multi-coloured budget boards.

Every company has its ups and downs. In my experience:

DFI boards are great for tweakers, but can be more of a hassle than many people really want. Never dealt with customer service

Gigabyte boards are usually very solid performers across all price points - their high-end boards aren't always quite at the level of some of their competitors, but their budget boards usually do great. I'd say that they're a very well-rounded company, although their color schemes are definitely a hit-or-miss look. A little variation wouldn't hurt. Their customer service does indeed need quite a bit of work though. It's rather slow and not always reliable.

ASUS has some excellent high-end offerings, but in the last few years their low-end and mid-range boards have been mediocre at best. They also have the ugliest color budget boards on the market, bar none. Customer service from ASUS is pretty good, although I've only dealt with it twice.

ABit sort of fell off the horse a while back, but I'm hoping for a comeback. They're definitely an underrated company, but they could definitely use a few seriously high-end boards to help draw enthusiast attention to themselves. I have yet to deal with ABit's customer service.

I haven't used any other boards to any great extent, so I'll refrain from commenting further.

Im sorry. What is an EPU?

Is this like a Killer NIC card? Ethernet processing unit?

So, gigabyte has them built onto the motherbiard, and they take stress off the CPU???

Personally, I've never owned a DIF board, however I have done a build with a DFI board and it was THE most pleasurable experience I've had with a mobo.

We all know ASUS isn't the company they used to be, and we all know that they have some serious quality issues.

Of all the builds I've done the Asus boards do seem to be of a lesser quality.

It just seems that Gigabyte is sick of sharing the market with a company that misleads their customers.

Oh yeah, Gigabyte boards FTW!
