ForceWare 175.70 Vista (32-bit)

Version: 175.70
Publisher:NVIDIA
Date added:2008-05-13 09:41:49
File Size: 47,00 MB
OS Support:Windows Vista (32-bit)
Software type:Videocards - NVIDIA ForceWare Vista

Software Description
Windows Vista 32-bit
A new NVIDIA ForceWare driver appeared on the web which is being served on-line by one of NVIDIA's partners. This driver set is commonly distributed and it is receiving pretty good feedback.
Bare in mind this to be considered a beta driver, use it at your own risk.
Driver wise, pretty much any GeForce graphics card build in the last 3 years is supported.

What the hell?! Every time I install new drivers my screen starts flashing quickly, followed by the driver crashing. This happens several times until I get a BSOD!

The obvious question is: are you properly uninstalling the old drivers? Safe mode + nvidia driver uninstall from add/remove + driver cleaner. I've screwed up a lot by not following one or all of those steps.

Hmmm. I'll try that when I get back from work.

I tried these and they are good so far. Gameplay is a bit smoother still then the 175.12 beta's which were good too. The occasional micro-stuttering that the 9800GX2 experiences has pretty much disappeared now.
