And do you mean age of empires 3 or one... for one I wouldent think you would even need a graphics card... Here are the minimun system requirements for AOE3:

System: 1.4 GHz equivalent or higher processor or equivalent
RAM: 256 MB
Video Memory: 64 MB
Hard Drive Space: 2000 MB
Other: Sound card, speakers, or headphones required for audio; 56.6kbps or better modem for online play.

So for reguler PCI go with something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102447 and you should be ok.

But realy I think you should go with the nicest card you can practicaly afford for your motherboard- it's just a good idea generaly unless you are planing on getting a new one. Of course you shouldent spend a fortune especialy when your limited to the older PCI slots- no more than $50 I should say.
