Very true.

Something about finger across plastic just doesn't seem normal.

I can't wait to see Motorola's response to this (the supposed Q10 out later this year).

Technically GSM isn't the future, it's the past.

GSM was 2G, UMTS was 3G, and 4G is going to be a revision of UMTS.

Even Sprint and Verizon are ditching CDMA for LTE, what would be the equivalent of 4G UMTS.

Right now there is nothing wrong with CDMA. The only downside to it is going outside the country, since CDMA is a national service unlike GSM which is global.

Also, companies such as AT&T and Verizon offer close to the same amount of "area" coverage, not meaning that all areas covered by Verizon are covered by AT&T and vice versa, but as far as amount of the US covered by each subsequent service, they are close.

Ok, thats enough terrible phone talk for the day. I'll have to hear it all over again at work tomorrow though...

The real reason why CDMA is garbage is that you can't pop a sim card into it.

But most CDMA carriers lock down their phones and cripple them. The Razr2 on Verizon is heavily crippled.

This is an old thread. I posted a large thread on the Touch pro when it was unveiled.

http://www.overclock.net/hardware-ne...touch-pro.html

And I just LOL'd at all of you who think the pic is real.

"P.S. No, you morons, the image above is not real. Didn’t we go through this once before?"

Straight from the article. xD
