Less overclocking

Thread Starter
I know that I have been posting everywhere asking about coolers for the Q6600 G0, but I have come to the thought that I could oc a little bit less and save a bunch. I may just go with an HDT cooler such as the OCZ Vendetta 2 and ditch the TRUE and save $30-$40. Or, I may get the TT120. I may lose .2GHz or so, but how much will this affect overall performance? I may revert back to stock to operate everyday (my parents don't need 3.4 blazing GHz to check email!). What do you guys think? Are my other cooler choices good?

yeah that would be fine, the vendetta looks like a good choice.

In that case you have no need for a Q6600

To be honest it won't make a difference at all except the fact that having a bottleneck like temperature will annoy you and make you cry yourself to sleep.
