Lol. My friend told me that he bet I couldn't play CS:S with my glasses on.

He was right, I have polarized ray bans and couldn't see the whole screen all at once. Suffice it to say...I failed...hardcore.

Also, to the OP, yep...you won't be able to run it on very high, as everyone else has said. I seriosuly don't get why this game was hyped up so much...

Played through it, it was kinda fun, but got boring once the aliens showed up, and also got much less pretty, and ran even worse. I can't even remember if I finished it before I sold it.

@ the chap who suggested skulltrail - the skulltrail mobos can't accept Q6600's - wrong socket

@ the OP: use the CCC mod for better FPS, but don't be expecting to play on 60+ FPS Very High at anything above say 1280x1024. current hardware can't make up for the poor coding. it's not worth it anyways

I can get a good 50fps on high. OC'd gfx and cpu though. Overclock that Q6 and your gfx cards and you'll def. notice a difference.
