Do I need watercooling?

I am running 8800GTX SLI, Q6600 (not overclocked), 4GB RAM, windows vista 32-bit and my board is 780SLI EVGA board. Computer's temperature is around 40 degrees celcius (is that normal). Any Suggestions?

LOL, no you don't need water cooling if you aren't overclocking. I assume that the computer temp you are reading is from some sort of monitoring program, in this case it is generally the temperature of the chipset, but 40c is fine. For reference my "computer" temp is generally 42-48c, but my chipset only has passive cooling(no fan). Out of curiosity, why aren't you overclocking?

I am assuming that you mean your CPU Idle temperature is 40 degrees Celsius. Run a CPU intensive program and tell us your CPU Load temperatures.

Generally, water cooling is used for keeping overclocked computer parts cool... So if you are planning on Overclocking your Quad and SLi cards, go ahead.

I belive that you can build a watercooling system for around 100 dollars, USD>

I'm not overclocking because:
1)I'm a nub never did it so I need someone who has lots of experience since the computer did cost $2150 U.S.
2)The worrenty is nulled if I do

Could you please tell us what program(s) your using to monitor temps. I don't see an aftermarket cooler and running 2x8800GTX just makes your case hot in general. 40c seems kinda low, even though your on stock.

Do you mean what water cooling system, because air cooling is far cheaper. And if you want to water cool your rig, that is not a place to pinch pennies. If you want water cooling, Petra's Tech Shop is a good place to shop, check out their custom water cooling kits.
