Do I need watercooling? - Page 2

No, you don't need any water cooling. Especially if you're not overclocking.

Actually it is quite hard to find a decent watercooling setup, especially a custom built one for $100. I recently pieced out a 'decent' single loop CPU only watercooling solution and it came to be about $225.

If your budget won't allow at least $200 than go with air cooling such as the T.R.U.E. or the Tuniq Tower (best air cooling solutions for ~$50) as anything of lesser value will preform close to air anyway.

It's just an LCD readout from the motherboard sensors, your running an Nvidia motherboard which also has a program from Nvidia that will display your temps, and several other programs which will display these same temps such as Everest, ect. The "computer" temp, like I said before is for the chipset. What did you select for the "Cooling Fan" at Cyberpower?

This is absolutely correct, if you want to water cool, don't even consider spending less than $200, it will be a waste of money.

You overclock it yourself?

EDIT: Unless Cyber Power PC put a lock on your bios, in which case, you're SOL.

You've got it backwards, you water cool it so you can overclock it further than you could with just air cooling. I'm sure you could overclock it with you current cooling, but it would be better if you could tell us what heatsink/fan you are currently using, if you don't know you could just pop open you case and take a pic, i'm sure we could identify it.

I'm not sure about an overclocked working processor but if you send in a processor damaged from overclocking, it will most certainly not be covered by either the retailer or manufacturer.

Well, I imagine he is referring to the cyberpower warranty, which probably clearly states that overclocking your computer will make it null & void.
