[How To] Make Windows XP look and act like Vista

I just came across this article. If you don't want to upgrade to Vista but want some of Vista's cool features, here's a guide.

Note that most of the tweaks require 3rd party apps that you'll have to buy. And there are some architectural changes, such as DX10, which you can't replicate by a software tweak.

Other than the alpha alky project below, you are correct. You should put together a guide which others can advise you on. This may help in you in your goal to make XP feel more like Vista. Good Luck and rep+ for the sweet topic.
