My settings were all in BIOS. As for the pencil mod, yes you simply use a pencil and make a couple strokes over the resistor (or whatever it is).

The bad news is that after running at 4Ghz for a while I started getting quite a few video card errors. It started off with an occasional "The display driver stopped working but has recovered" balloon coupled with a quick screen blink. Eventually any 3D application would cause the screen to go into a frenzy, blinking incessantly with the display driver has recovered dialogue. I don't know what was causing it, but as a result I'm back to more epileptic-friendly 3.7Ghz now.

9x450
1.625 Vcore
1.41NB for 2x1gb sticks
Rest are auto.

Did switching to 2x1GB sticks make a difference for you?
