HP Pavilion or Dell Inspiron

Thread Starter
In light of recent events, I will be selling my entire computer (which is my sig rig I built only 2 months ago) to fund the buying of a laptop instead.
My price range is within $900-$1100 with a warranty included in that.

I've narrowed down my choices to the HP Pavilion 6700 series and the Dell Inspiron 1720.

HP specs as I configured them: $1013 + free shipping

I've decided to drop gaming on my PC and allow my PS3 to feed my gaming needs, so all I need is the 8400m (I refuse to use Intel's integrated garbage).

Which do you think I should go with? Any experience with either companies tech support?

Thanks for any input

Nice coupon site

Thanks for the heads up on dell, I've heard that if you don't have an XPS their service blows. Guess this confirms it.
