Just played GRID (Short Review)

I was not impressed.

First of all - It's way too flashy. From menu to menu it does this crazy fade out thing. It will make your head hurt fast.

Second, it's WAY too sensitive. I understand that it is supposed to be more realistic, but literally as soon as you hit a patch of dirt you spin out. No exceptions. If you accelerate too fast thats an automatic spin out also.

I will not be buying this game this summer.

I hated it at first too, it really punishes you for leaving the track. I had to make friends with the analog trigger, and learn to ease back onto the asphalt before laying it out.

I actually really like it once I got past a one and a half hour learning curve.

I play it on PC with 360 controller though.

I crashed into a wall and bluescreened.

I gave up.

I will sort my stability out today, and play again later.
