Up the voltage to about 1.45vcore
Up the mem to 2v
Link the ram. You want to run 1:1 if you can.
Thats what I would try too.

Ill give it a shot too. It just doesnt seem to work I dont undertand why it has a FSB and another bus.. Ok i will be back.

since the e6300 has a multi of 7, you will be running at 400+ fsb or anything over 2.8ghz (400x7), you need increase your northbridge voltage.

If you have good cooling on the northbridge(at least a 40mm fan on it) then do add .2 to the MCH voltage. plus .1 if you can get by with it.

With my old gigabyte board, any Vcore increase over 425 wasn't stable, but add .3 to the MCH voltage helped quite alot.

But I don't do it if you only have passive cooling on the NB.

Use 7.

To get your clock speed, you multiply your multiplier by your FSB.

Example

400 FSB
7 Multiplier
400*7 = 2.8 ghz

The number you see in the 1000s is your rated FSB. To convert that to your Bus Speed (FSB), you divide it by 4.

1600 Rated FSB
1600 / 4 = 400 fsb

I hope this makes since and helps you understand Intel overclocking more.

Yea Confused as hell but I think I got the hang of it. The dude he sold me this stuff said it wont go past 2.8ghz so is this look like I did it right?

And whats the max temps on this? Im running 1.45Vcore? Is that ok? Temp is idoling at 45c??

Anyway heres a cpuz

I need to know max Vcore and temp asap!

http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=361118

Temps have went up from 40c to 45c from 1.8ghz to 2.8ghz and stock vcore to 1.45vcore? Thats all?

Also maybe because this E6300 is lapped...

I'm gonna say that 1.45vcore is a little on the higher side for only 2.8 ghz. For max temps, try to keep it under 60C full load.

Also, are you able to get it higher than 2.8 ghz?

I found out why it freezes. Im running 2gb of cheap samsung ram which is DDR2 667. I had manualy set the ram to run at 800 and it didnt like the timings. I lowered the ram to 750mhz and left the cpu at 2.8ghz on 1.35v.. I noticed the temp drop . It was running almost 60c on 1.4v now its only at 38 loaded
