Thinking about picking one of these up tomorrow and I have 2 questions..

1. Will it fit in a mid size tower?
2. Good for q6600 O.C?

yes, yes

Can you tell us what case specifically?

Edit:// Yeah it should fit that case. My cm690 is like half an inch less wide than that one so you should be just fine.

Maybe i can slip another question in here as well... Im running the q6600 as you know, does it matter whether it is turned horizontal or vertical? I've always turned it so the air blew out the back..

I would and always face my sinks out the back, its usually my strongest fan = loudest so i would rather have that as far away from me as possible.

As for my other comment, very true different tastes is all Have fun with the new set-up.

If your case has a fan on the top right over the heat sink then i would have it blow up and the pipes horizontal to the ground. I've seen a closer range in temps between all cores with my XIG HDT S1283 which is almost identical to the OCZ V2. Check out this thread which shows a log of my experience with the XIG which should give you an idea of what you'll see with the OCZ V2.
