Help.. My system keeps getting an error

Well, I didnt know where to put this, becuase the problem is either with the motherboard, the video card, or the ram.

At random, I get this screen that looks like a video card problem. The screen shows vertical lines of various color, covering the whole screen, top to bottom. Very tightly packed lines, which dont reflect any colors of the desktop. At that point, my system is totally unresponsive, nothing works, all programs have shut down.

I reboot the computer, and it wont post. I can try hitting reset, holding down the power buttons, shutting it off with the PSU on/off switch, nothing. If I take out all the ram sticks and boot it with 1 stick, after a while it will post, and boot to windows. Ive had it happen 4 times now, this being the fourth.

The system is prime stable, video card is not overclocked at all, and the memory is running 1028mhz, 5-5-5-15 timings with 2.15v. (rated for 1066 at 2.2v). Im at a loss as to what is going on, can anyone help?

Well, I guess I found the problem. I tested with 1 good stick in, and tried every stick one at a time. Only 1 stick failed, but it DID fail. When it was inserted, the whole system refused to post. So I guess its RMA time. Bit of a relief that it wasnt a graphics problem though.
