Whats the word on XP x64? - Page 6

Only thing I will add at this point is for those of you who say XP x64 driver support is lacking, tell us specifically what you cannot find XP x64 drivers for.

Id bet I can not only find them on the manufacturers website but that they have been updated as recently as Vista or XP x86 drivers......

I'm running XP x64 right now, along with XP. I have used Vista and hated it (clunky, dialogs about if I want to authorize myself to use the mouse and every other little thing, privacy/security issues) so I refuse to install it on any of my machines. XP x64 is pretty nice, drivers can be harder to find at times than XP but they are there. Its a bit more responsive than XP and if you had the use of the last 1gb of your RAM it would probably make a difference for games.

Same thing here. I use x64 for my daily use, with absolutely no problems other than with my god damn soundcard that disables itself whenever I enter audio creation mode.

If you don't want Vista, I understand you. I were using it for a while and didn't like it. There were countless problems with FPSes and mouse settings, plus a couple of other things, really painful.

Hope you enjoy x64, I do

You have an X-Fi? I used to have one with XP x64 -- it worked fine in all three modes. Perhaps things have changed since then though, but I don't think that should be happening.
