Any anti virus / spyware live CD's?

Thread Starter
I heard a little about the possibility of this, but haven't really found any info on.

Mostly just the issue of having to access some ones computer to remove virus's and spyware, but their computer is very very slow and would take forever for a virus scan.

There are AV boot CDs. The only one I've used is Avast, but I know McAfee has them and I would imagine other AV companies do as well.

If you can pull the HDD and attach it to another computer and scan it as a non-OS drive you can solve your problem, as well getting a more thorough (and much faster)scan as no files will be in use during the scan.
