The Cooler Master 590 is good as well.

I just recently bought a new case and I was down to the 590 or the 690 and it looked like the 590 might have better airflow to me. I cannot really say either way, but I ended up going with the 590 and it was $20 cheaper too.

You can click the link in my sig to see how it turned out.

I have the CM690 , and i plan to swap with a cm590 , because the CM690 have on top of the case three grills , one above the other ( two metallic grills plus another plastic grill in between the two mentioned metallic grills on the top of the case , this is really restrictive to the top exhaust airflow, plus the CM690 have the HDD cage perpendicular to the airflow , therefore the HDD cage block 90% of the airflow from the front fan , the CM590 dont have this problem , plus the start button ,leds , usb port etc are on the front of the CM590( more protected of dust ), the CM690, have the ports on the top of the case ( collect more dust )

The airflow from the front fan blocked with the HDD cage of the CM690

This is the multiple restrictive mesh plus grills on top of the CM690 airflow got stiff resistance there

The CM590 have better airflow on the twins top (120/140mm) exhaust fans

The HDD cage on the CM590 parallel oriented to intake airflow ( front to back ) , therefore better airflow
