Asus Commando and E8500 benching under 3-stage Cascade: 5.8GHz @1.76v easy!

Unfortunately I'm stuck at 612-613FSB by the board!!! Limit is exactly the same on Air cooling than under the Grosse Bertha.

I'm trying a real gem of chip right now. Boots and runs Spi32M at 610FSBx9.5@1.76v

I'm waiting for another Commando; hopefully it'll be better than actual one 6GHz Spi1M under cascade is doable IMHO...

Ironic. It seems that the higher benches for the dual core wolfdales are coming from ASUS 965 chipsets! I've seen simiar results on a P5B-VM.

I'd say Yes... but you need to get it at about -120C under load...

ROFL... The sad part is no, he wasn't joking.

Does the commando have a max NB strap of 333(1333) or is it 266(1066)? I can't recall if it was like my old QuadGT that just went up to 266...

Nice results.
Have you tried a lower multi to see if you could get a higher FSB?
