Selling on Ebay isnt going to get you much money, especially after shipping. You need to find people that are looking to buy computers (friends and family members) and say that for the same cost as the computer in the store you will build one with better components and 1 year of on site tech support. From my experience of building computers, you can make much money off a computer <$700. The real money is in the computers that have $1000 of parts and sell for $1600 though dell.

If you want to make any money at all I'd recommend finding someone locally who wants a computer so you don't have to spend $40 to ship the tower. What I often do is have them go on newegg and order a wish list I put together on their own account with their own credit card, then I come over and put together the parts for $50-$100. Also that way if something breaks they didn't buy it from you, you just assembled the pieces for them.

I;ve seen some people make a profit in the extreamly high end computers. Like 1100+ cause we all know that dell and a lot of those companys sell high end pcs for like 5k with only 1.9k of parts in them. So you build a much cheaper uber rig and sell it to a hi roller type person. Theres a lot more risk tho
