Here is some info I have found about the stop c000021a bsod...

CAUSE
The STOP 0xC000021A error occurs when either Winlogon.exe or Csrss.exe fails. When the Windows NT kernel detects that either of these processes has stopped, it stops the system and raises the STOP 0xC000021A error. This error may have several causes. Among them are the following:
•Mismatched system files have been installed.
•A Service Pack installation has failed.
•A backup program that is used to restore a hard disk did not correctly restore files that may have been in use.
•An incompatible third-party program has been installed.

Theres some steps you can take to attempt to fix it here.

Hopefully this helps.

Back in the old day's as I recalled one had to partition their hard drive useing the F Disk command. This was required as I recall for windows 98 (or was it for a dos instalation in addition to 98?) here is an artical on it which I realy should read to catch up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Format_disk

At any rate you might want to re-format your hard drive and try to install windows again- might just be a bad install, but I havent been keeping up as much as I should of late, so I don't realy know if it will help.

Did you "Quick Format" or do a Full Format when prompted?
Don't have Vista but in XP always "Full Format" a fresh build.

Well, I didn't even get that far. I don't have vista installed. But my dad had some guy look at it and he's holding it over the weekend. I hope he fixes it.

Well, the guy said it's most likely a CPU or Mo/bo problem. He did a test board or something and got an SF error in the post code. Whatever that means. So, I gotta RMA my COU, Memory and motherboard.
