I *do* have two 8800gt's in SLI and it DOES change when I take one out.

I guess it's windows Vista 64bit for me... or bust.

I flashed my bios with: NF78_P04 btw, I needed to do that anyway =P.

What's the maximum 64 bit can handle? I'm hoping to get 8 gigz

Is the process as simple as changing to Vista 64 bit or are their more details I should consider?
128GB in most cases.. you won't need to worry about a ram limit in 64bit for a long time.

Actually, 64 bit OSs can address up to the terabytes and beyond. However, some 64 bit OSs have an artificial limit. Including Windows Vista Ultimate which has a limit of 128GB, and Vista Home Pre which I believe has a limit of about 16GBs.

A 64-bit system can handle 128GB of ram if I recall correctly (please correct me) and in terms of the process, just load up Vista 64 and it will auto detect 4GB of ram. There is a hotfix you may need to apply however.

Just so he knows, SP1 Includes this hotfix, but you may need to remove 2GB of ram while installing vista.
