Tuniq Tower Owners - Page 3

I think the stock tuniq fan works great. I was gettin temps of around 35c idle and 50-55 at load. They're much higher now though because its like a sauna in my room right now. I doubt the temps would even change more than 1c if you face the tuniq's fan towards the top exhaust. In cases with only rear exhaust it would make quite a difference but it wouldn't affect airflow too much since theres an exhaust fan its blowing into either way.

No problem. Now if you lap it then you might get like 3-5c difference. It worked for me. Now with the warm weather coming. I have to down clock a bit. Folding makes it hotter.

If you're looking to lower your temps or your sound output, I'd buy 2 Yate Loon Low speed fans (Petra's preferrably), replace the stock Tuniq fan, and then attach the other fan to the front of the Tuniq to help with intake. I've noticed a few degrees cooler temperatures on loads, maybe 1-2c idle, but the real difference has been sound. I can't even hear my CPU fans over my 8800GTS G92's stock fan now. It's amazing.

already have.. I lapped it before I even installed it... I get wonderful temps at my oc of 390X9 at 20C idle and over 72 with orthose ofter 30 seconds but I can play Crysis all day long and not get over 60C.. I love this cooler... Although when summer really hits here in MI I will have to lower my oc I believe..
