I have a Pentium D 560J which is similar to yours, only at a stock 3.6ghz. Unlike mine, your's won't run extremely hot, so I suggest trying to get it to a nice 3.0ghz or 3.2ghz without bumping up the Vcore. If you need extra juice, feel free to bump the Vcore up to a ma of about 1.36.

Also, try to keep your temps under 70C at load. The pentiums can take a bigger hit than most processors when it comes to heat.

Core temp is good for monitoring temps. As far as CPU info? CPU-Z is the way to go, which is what you have already.

You could always check with your motherboard manufacturer and see if they supply any temp monitoring software.

Please fill in the rest of your system specs in your used control panel and we will be able to help more.

Try everest free edition, I would imagine it would support your processor-

You might not be able to since u have a ECS motherboard. ECS isn't exackly known for having quality mobos. If you post some pics of ur bios i can surely help you out. Although since it's a P4 any seriess overclocking will burn ur CPU up so you might consider buying an after market cooler if you really want to squeeze some extra life out of that cpu since they get very VERY HOT.

Once it starts locking up at about 45-50c, you're done.

The most my chip would boot at is 3.7Ghz a 500Mhz overclock.
