I'm pretty sure HWMonitor will give you temps for your cores, and some other things, as well as some voltage info.

Speedfan will monitor cpu load, but I'm not sure it'll work with your system (http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php). Prime95 will "simulate" load, in the sense that it'll load your cpu for real, to test overclock stability (and temperatures), by doing some serious number-crunching which probably won't mean anything to you (unless you're looking for Mersenne numbers), as opposed to a "real" application like video encoding or gaming (http://www.mersenne.org/ This may be an outdated link, not sure).
