When the drivers stop responding, how frequently does it happen?

If it is the (black screen) and then onto your desktop issue or the issue were games close then there is nothing you can do about it buddy

It is a Vista problem. M$ apparently brought out an update that fixed this issue however it still happens to most people quite frequently.

However, it may not be that issue. You didn't really give enough information as to what problem you are having.

Try removing the drivers completely using Driver Cleaner Pro (in normal AND Safe mode) then try reinstalling the drivers

Generally speaking at first I had 32-bit and I had that black screen then to desktop, I removed the video cards and I put them back it, it then kept working well. Soon I installed the 64 bit, and drivers were fine, all of sudden im in crysis then the game stops working and it says drivers have failed and now have recovered. The computer becomes way slower but I can still acess everything and the desktop is not black.

Vista Error

Unfortunately. you could try other drivers and see if that solves the problem but i wouldn't get your hopes up.

There are two variants to the Vista issue, there is the black screen and the crash to desktop. I have only ever had the black screen, seems you have had both

I get those errors when my I overclock too high and try to play a game. Other than that I have no idea.

well i dont know what you have heard about Nvidia and 64 Bit OS's but as far as i know.. the drivers for 64 bit versions of windows, are not as reliable as the 32 bit, because not too many gamers use the 64 bit.. 64 bit os's didnt become popular among mainstream users, until a few years ago, Except with the quadro cards, meant for 64bit os workstations..
even the nvidia website doesnt record compatibility with 8800gtx in sli..

[copied from the site.]
WHQL Certified for Windows Vista
Supports GeForce 6, 7, 8, and 9 series GPUs including these newly released GPUs:
GeForce 9800 GX2
GeForce 9800 GTX
GeForce 9600 GT
GeForce 9600 GSO
GeForce 8300
GeForce 8200/ nForce 730a
GeForce 8100/nForce 720a
Supports single GPU and NVIDIA SLIâ„¢ technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, and OpenGL, including Quad SLI technology with GeForce 9800 GX2 and 3-way SLI Technology with GeForce 9800 GTX.
Supports Hybrid SLI technology to turbo-charge graphics performance and enjoy intelligent power management on the following motherboards:
nForce 780a SLI
nForce 750a SLI
nForce 730a
nForce 720a
GeForce 8300
GeForce 8200
GeForce 8100
Supports GeForce Boost, a Hybrid SLI Technology, on the following GPUs:
GeForce 8500 GT
GeForce 8400 GS
Supports HybridPower, a Hybrid SLI Technology, on the following GPUs:
GeForce 9800 GX2
GeForce 9800 GTX
[end]

if you continue to have errors, with this.. try running them out of sli.. and also.. check to make sure your PSU is enough to power both of them in SLI because most SLI uses more than 400w. sometimes even over 500w.

if you have only a 750 psu.. it could be.. not enough.. causing your games to crash.. because in a 64bit os.. the power consumption is a little higher, becasue it utilizes more of your 64bit processor more efficiently.
and it runs alot of virtual machines. which cause high Memory usage, thus increasing power draw.

but besides that.. make sure, that it will work, with a single card, if not, there may be a defect with your card.
