I used to have it... But it seemed kinda bloated and I think it advertised porn on the sidebar

I'm using Bittorrent for Mac. I keep getting horrendous errors for my Fedora 9 download (I can just click resume, but it's making the process take forever.) I'm not sure if it's the client.

I hear Transmission is a good torrenting program. I'm gonna try this.

Isn't utorrent windows-only? It might work under Darwine (wine for OSX), though.

BitRocket - My favorite for torrents.
Firefox (I usually like Opera, but on the Mac I just don't like it)
AppCleaner
TextMate - If you do any type of coding, this wins hands down

MS Office (for Neo Office if what something free)

Other then that OS X already comes with a great collection of software.

QS is good... Most of the time. It worked well for a long time, but then all of a sudden it started crashing often (I know, it's a beta). So I turned off all the special effects (shadows, the transitions, etc) and now it's good as gold; has not crashed since.

Hmm... I've never had any luck with it. It's supposed to be like a package manager kind of thing (like "apt-get <program>") for OSX, right? Something that will download and compile open source packages.

I've tried it, but it takes FOREVER for things to start to compile, and they always failed for me.
