How to use surround sound...

Thread Starter
I recently got a set of Logitech X-530 5.1 surround sound speakers.

I have a Creative Sounblaster Audigy SE with all of the ports for surround sound.

I hooked it all up and tried playing a movie but it did not play in surround sound. (probably because of the audio not being in 5.1)

Games such as Call of Duty 4 use all of my speakers and it sounds great!

Is there any way to use all 5 of my speakers in any application?

Hello, i have the same sound card and almost the same speakers(X-540)

Yes you can do this.
go to Start>Creative>EAX Settings
in there click on the tab that says CMSS 3D
and enable it.
three you go, you have full surround sound.
