hi all,

i got a E6600 recentlly and my ocz vondicator was not making proper contact, i put in the stock cooler and forgot about it.

anyway tonight i decided to file the part of the hsf away which was stopping contact added a extra fan, on the cooler itsselfs and rearranged case fans and added some more of them.

anyway, i know the chip can do 3.4ghz atm, but as i said i was getting terrible temps like getting into the mid 60s and that is not good, anyway,

heres a screen shot atm ( please find attached )

im still running gromacs core atm, my temps are sitting no higher then 53* on one core and 51* on the other im idling at 40 - 42*.

i must also add that on previous overclock attempts its never wanted to boot on a 1.264 vcore. since sorting the cpu and cooling being more efficent, its seems to like running at 3.2ghz @ 1.26 vcore i belive stock is 1.3v right?

what do you fink then people

EDIT: gromac has been running ten minutes
