Only 1 question now

Does the little triangles (on the connectors coming from the case) on the connectors mean positive or negative?

My MB: GIGABYTE GA-MA790FX-DS5

My Case: thermaltake armor VA8003BWS BK RT

Is there another way to figure out the positive and negative terminals?

I believe it means positive.

The other way, is to plug it in and see if it works. For switches it doesnt matter the polarity, even if reversed, however for LEDs, they simply will not light up if you have reverse polarity.

If you plug em in and they dont work, flip em around. There will be no damage by doing this. I do it when im lazy or when the board has no obvious markings...

Ok thanks. I have another question. Does it make a difference if I use the azalia or ac97' connection for the Front panel audio header?

Azalia? I assume you mean the Intel HD Audio connector vs Analog Audio connector?

I dont really know all the technical bits about it, but if you plan on only using the front panel audio for some headphones or analog (non-digital) speakers, then AC97 is fine. But if you plan on putting digital interfaces through there, such as spdif out, then perhaps its a good idea to go the HD audio connector.

I may be mistaken on the HD part, but thats my best guess. Ive always used the rear outputs for digital and left the front panel analog for headphones and such...

Yes. The pinouts are different. It is Azalia HD Audio or AC97.
Once again...
