Fan speed control with asus a8n5x?

Hello,

Does anyone know a good program for controlling and speeding up your fan speed? Because i tried speedfan and it doesnt speed up/slow down the fan speed. I also tried to open the bios and check it over there but i found nothing except cool and quit but that doesnt let you run the fan speed at 100%.
Here is a pic of speedfan and what i can tell from it is that the fans dont run at full speed :S

My specs:
Asus A8n5x
AMD 4400+ (RUnning it @ stock speed & stock fan)
2GB Corsair (4x512)

thnx

How about a hardware alternative? It would entail some expenditure, but if you search around you can get a good one for fairly cheap.

This one is my personal favorite. I use it for my own builds and recommend it to clients who need a hardware fan controller.

Good luck!

If you must, then SpeedFan should still work as a software fan control mechanism. Just don't rely on it as a temperature monitor.

(And therein lies the rub: As a fan controller, it relies on the temperature readings it's making. If SpeedFan isn't configured properly for your motherboard, then the readings will be off, and therefore fan operation and control will also likewise be off.)

Good luck!
