Best cheap soundcard?

Thread Starter
My gf's onboard gives her a BSOD, so she needs a soundcard. She just uses crappy speakers, so anything good is a waste.

So I need the cheapest possible card that still works in current PC's well (she's on xp x64), preferably under $20. Any recomendations?

My first card way back in the day was a Creative Audigy SE which powered 5.1 speaker set-up. My brother is still using it on his computer and still sounds as it did when I bought it.

Heres the link.

Chaintech AV-710 if you can find one...Will bring the low end Audigy's and Xtreme Audio to the ground.

I found a soundblaster audigy on ebay for $18. Seems like Creative is the only one with a cheap soundcard that supports x64 .

Thanks for the help.
