help!!! complete loss of sound from power outage...

Well, we just had a pretty serious power outage here. Lasted about 2 and a half hours... Everyone who's ever sat through one of those knows the hell you get from losing everything that was running on your computer. Anyways, now my computer's all screwed up. Audio won't work. Nothing. I can't play anything from iTunes, not a single thing. I've already tried playing system sounds and stuff... But apparently nothing works. I've got the Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card, so I don't know if they tend to have an issue with this sort of thing

I've already tried to restart the "Windows Audio" service, and in the Device Manager everything is working properly.

And by the way, I have every single device on my desk connected to a surge protector. The speakers, the computer, everything.

PLEASE HELP!!!
