Pretty much any processor released within the past 4 years will max out Crysis just fine. Crysis is pretty much all GPU power and unoptimized code.

E7200 - 45nm wolfdale(supposedly 5-10% faster overall than conroe)3MB cache(compared to e2180's 1MB cache), 9.5x multi(e2180 has 10x), much higher overclocks possible.

Overall I think the e7200 is worth the extra $40-60. Especially if you want to push your processor to around 3.5ghz+.

I don't think the 680i gets along with the dual core wolfdales. A bios update may be needed. (I may be wrong though)

QFT, my E7200 will run at 3.5Ghz on stock voltage.

Hmm it seems like that is true that he might need a bios update.

Zaxbys, Do you have an other processor you can put in your evga 680i so you can flash its bios to the newest which supports wolfdales?

Why don't you like the E-6400? Mine does 3.2GHz all day long just fine.

ya and i bet it will do 4.0+GHz with a small voltage bump
compaired to the e2200 or 21x0 are good to 3.2 - 3.5 if your lucky

the e7200 at 4.0 would be like a 65nm Core 2 at 4.2GHz
(they say the 45nm CPU's is 10% faster than 65nm CPU's at the same speed....)
