Hi, I have recently replaced my watercooling with a better kit. Putting my pc back together, I kept testing the mobo to check it was posting, everytime I added a new componant it posted, and I got 2 beeps, one for post, and the second to tell me I dont have a keyboard plugged in. Now, the pc was complete, I was ready for the first boot. Power on. Fans spinning, HDD's active, Pump running. No beeps. So I rebooted, still nothing.

So I started troubleshooting. Removed the RAM. Nothing. Removed the Graphics and sound card. Nothing. I now have a bare motherboard, with just the northbridge waterblock attached with the pump running. The power light comes on, on the motherboard. And it seems to respond to the pressing of buttons, EG. Power, Reset. But I get no beeps. Normally in this situation I would get a series of 5 or 6 beeps to tell me, nothings installed.

Ive run out of ideas of what could be wrong now.

I removed the CMOS battery, and left it for 30mins. Still nothing.

Any Ideas?

Thanks Joe

BTW : Motherboard is the lovely ASUS P5N-E Sli, and has been running fine for months
