Thread Starter
This is my first time building a system by myself and i really don't want to screw anything up. been reading the forums for awhile and i understand computers somewhat, but is there a comprehensive guide somewhere that will go through the setup set by step?

This may prove useful.

Ask many questions.

I have found that the amount of satisfaction gained is proportionate to the amount of questions asked.

Yeah allways use this site as a point of referance. 99% of people here really know what they are talking about and you can ask anything and it will be answered super quickly.
My advice - dont be affraid to ask about anything your unsure about even if it sounds stupid. We were all first time builders once too.
Also if you are even the smallest bit unsure about something, come to OCN and ask, then wait for a few replies to compare. Better that then jumping in and thinking it will be ok and frying a componant.
Good luck mate
But seriously once you start, you will never stop. PC building, upgradeing and modding is a seriously adictive hobby. you have been warned!!!!
