What did you use to attach the grill? They look like small cylindrical nuts or something.

M4x8mm Black Socket head bolts

I've just ordered a load of black button head ones though as I think they look a bit nicer.

looks ace martin, used this to cut my grill and it came out perfectly. One question though, how the hell did you de-rivet the LL top panel, I couldn't for the life of me find where to de-rivet my G70's panel without drilling right through the ally whilst taking the rivets out.

what is the best tool to use to cut with? a high speed metal reciprocating saw?

http://www.harborfreight.com/high-sp...saw-91753.html

would that work? or maybe a dremmel with a metal cutting attachment?

i bet it would be nice to have a band saw...

NOOOOOO!! hahahaha

I know it was an honest question, but for sure, do NOT use a recipricating saw. They are not really for precise work.. If anyone has used one here they know what I mean

You want a jigsaw with the finest (Most TPI (teeth per inch)) metal cutting blade you can get for it.

A dremel will work. If you go that route, I personally would use the reinforced cut off wheels. They last much much longer than the crappy wheels that come with a dremel.

Be sure to hold it steady.. one slip it all it takes to ruin a good case, well the paint anyway.

Good luck
