go return your gx2 and psu then and get the refund, get:

750i board :$180
2 x 8800gt: $350
e8400: $200
good 600w psu:$100
------------------
about 500 euro, you still save and you should be able to max out crysis around 30-40fps on veryhigh, or spend a little more and get 2x8800gts

Wait a second if you get 60Fps on low in same resolutions and then 17fps when you put it high thats clearly no CPU bottleneck. GPU is the one that drops performnce when the detail level increases. Also try to play highre resolution cause that resolution its pointless and SLI just dosent work. Its like a 8800GTS at that resolution which looks right.
