Question about p182 door

Thread Starter
I just bought myself a p182. I only have 1 question about it. When I open the door, it feels like the plastic hinges arn't smooth. I feel like one "bumb" and the platic Bezel with all the holes in it moves a little. Is this normal, and if yes will it disappear after some use.

I know in the P180, it's a double hinge. Think it's the same for the P182. You can open the door 90 degrees, then swing the door and part of the hinge out an additional 90.

When I open the 2nd part I get the "unsmooth" sensation. The bump is probably the whole thing opening up.

If it's that, then it's perfectly normal. Just see how it opens and see if you're just opening the door, or opening the whole "front".

Once I got used to opening just the door, it became incredibly smooth.

Good luck with the case! It's amazing!

Thanks for your answear. The bumb comes when you go from 90 degrees and over. It feels like the plastic rubs against each other, and feels a little bit cheap.
The "extented opening" happens at 180 degrees on my case, so it isn't that.

So I guess you must send it back to the shop and get a brand new one.

It's normal, and no, it does not go away, in my experience.

Same thing happens with mine. ITs because of the double hinge. It got a bit less after some times but the effect is still there for me.

Thanks. I'm gonna start my new build tonight then I was in doubt because it dosn't do that on my friends p180 (The old one, not 1.1). It's still a fantastic case though.
