New Monitor, need help optimizing brightness and contrast!

Hey there fellow over clockers,

I have a quick question. I just picked up a new monitor for my system, a giant 24" ... I need to optimize the contrast and brightness but can't seem to load up the nvidia monitor optimizer thingy, so I was wondering if there are any 3rd party programs that are good at helping me do this.

Thanks

I would just manually set them to your liking using the buttons on the monitor. That way it is what looks good to you. Play with what u pay for is what my wife sayz...

Here is a website. It's nothing fancy but it may help.

Also here is a calibration website I've used in the past.

Lastly here is a dead pixel tester if you are brave enough to look.

Good luck.
