Got settings on Age of Conan 100% running at 44C :)

Reason I have been upgrading my computer was for this very reason, to be prepared to put these graphics all the way up. They made these graphics sound better than they are though. Crysis > Age of Conan in my opinion graphics wise. But still AoC puts a lot of stress on my card 44C is pretty good.. I'm sure it would be higher without the Thermalright cooler on the 9800!

Age of Conan graphics are modeled on the Oblivion engine so they are obviously going to be inferior to Crysis. I personally believe MMORPGs need a very well optimized engine to be able to render a lot of action on the screen fluidly. Stuttering in a multiplayer game is fail so an engine as good as Guild Wars is the benchmark.

There's software you can install to check your FPS.
Anyways, your rig is sort of overkill for a RPG IMO.

Lol, i have always been a computer enthusiast and I love technology. I use this computer for college school work to run programs like adobe photoshop, excel, 3d studio max, and I play games like Crysis as well. I like having my computer in tip top shape, too much is never enough for me.

P.S. I work and I like to reward myself sometimes with buying the newest technologies, and believe me my rig could be a whole lot more extravagant LOL. My next BIG move for my next computer a couple years down the road will be going to water cooling and I'll prob have a very badass rig then also. I guess overkill is a good thing, hehe .
