After being directed by you to this thread from another thread, I still see no bolt mod. I had planned to do the washer mod already, but now I'll do the washer+thermal mod . I wont be doing mofsets though. I find that it'll look odd with mofsets stuck to it. It's effective, but not for me.

Btw, great temps and crazy mods. I remember your polka dot thermal method from another thread. Great stuff, funny as frick.

Hrmmmm, you realllllllly hate fan grills dont you? But you cut out the grill and directed others to replace it with another grill. What other fan grill could be better?

I started laughing when I saw the begone demon joke. Keep up the crazy mods!

--Edit--
Why don't you just stick mofsets all over the TRUE's base for kicks?

Yeah sorry I was thinking bearing not bolt. And the default grills are a lot worse for noise and flow, there is a lot more metal used. Other fan grills look better, cause less noise and let more air pas through. You can always go without a grill, but that's a bit extreme, even for me! Either way I only use the filters.

And I think I will stick mosfets all over it lol.

I believe direct injection to a copper plate is more effective than water-cooling all the fins, although it CAN technically be done...

Theres one hiccup with the open window thing: what if you don't want dust? And if, like me, the house is actually warmer in the winter? I ain't sure about my exact ambients, but I will definitally track them now

Oh and don't ask about a huge filter covering the whole side of the case. Been there, done that.

I plan on cleaning it up a bit, making the sides straight and all. I've got plans now to put some silent (that's the key!) 40-50mm fans RIGHT between the two cards at the PCI brackets. Back to the eletronics store!

When you do stick mosfets all over it, you better post pics. It just ain't right to stick em all over the place and keep it a secret.

Any good fan grills you would recommend? I have the 1900RPM Scythe fans and they get a bit loud. I'm trying to find a way to kill the noise without undervolting any fans.

Quick question. Would sound dampening material work with a case such as the Centurion 5 which has a bezel mesh at the front of the case? (Cheap sound dampening material like the FrozenCPU sound dampening kit)
