The only difference I found is more stable temps, but then again I always had pretty good pressure. For most people with so-so to not-enough pressure it should result in bringing the gap in temperatures between cores much lower. I remember I had about 8-12C difference before the bearing, and after (along with a light lap), it brought the difference down to 2-4C at most. The way to find out if it will make a difference for you: while prime is running and temps are topped out, apply more pressure to the TRUE, and see if your temps drop. When I did this I lost about 5-7C on load, mainly the two first cores. Cores 2 and 3 kept pretty much the same temps. This is what told me there wasn't enough pressure, thus I decided to do the bearing mod. Try it out!
