10000 rpm V.S. 7200 rpm... big difference ?

Thread Starter
will there be a huge difference in terms of game play ? since the 10000 rpm is gonna cost double as much as a 7200 rpm, should I go for two 7200 rpm for raid ?

Get two 7200RPM and put them in Raid0 should be faster and quieter.

7200PRMs in RAID 0 will pwn a 1000RPM hdd, besides the fact that a 1TB 7200RPM costs BARELY more than a 150GB 10000RPM.

Since you have 4 gigs, if a game needs more than 3gb of memory then yes it will help.

But no games need that much....yet.
