nice oc, those temps fit right with it.

I'd try some re-mounts Buddy, thats hot...My 150 Opty I could keep at 7-9C over ambient on Prime large FFT load for about 6 hours, Thats at 3062mhz and almost a 1.6 v-core, somewhere around there...This BE I'm on now I load at 12-14C over ambient with a my daily OC of 3264mhz with several hours of Prime large with a 1.44 v-core...

You should be able to keep that Opty at least 15C at load over ambient with a light OC like that...You did put together a pretty good loop didn't you? I seem to remember that you did...

Make sure all the air is out of your loop to, shake your rad while its running and make sure all the air is out of it...Shake you box around, front to back, side to side, get all the air out of your fittings...

When you re-mount your block, take it off easy and see if it looks like the block is making a good even contact...Make sure no caps or what-ever are holding your block off the chip...You might want to straight-edge your IHS and block bottom to make sure they aren't cupped or convex....

You should be able to get those temp's down some with a little tweaking....

well, I reseated the CPU . I used AC5 this time and not shin. When I lifted the block , the compound did cover the core, Temps haven't change much. Then again this CPU had temps OCed at 60c. I'm going to search for bubbles now, I'm just wondering if the white water is up to a hot chip.
